Martha Clara Rose

Martha Clara Rose Table Wine

Martha Clara Rose Table Wine
Martha Clara’s Rose is, if nothing else, unique. The bottle label features a Jack Russell Terrier drawn in swaths of white, orange and brown, and the wine itself seems inspired by the pooch’s fury hues. In place of your typical pink Rose is something that glows soft orange and seems distinctively Long Island. This sweet wine tastes of plums. It should be served cold, preferably on a hot summer day while you sit in the backyard with your Jack Russell Terrier romping about underfoot. Its appeal falls apart when paired with anything resembling a heavy food, but it will complement a salad nicely. But mostly this wine wants to be sipped and enjoyed for what it is: simple, sweet and unique. A perfect choice if you are tired of White Zins and worth trying just for something different.
